Movement
The most effective lever — and the easiest way to start.
Movement is the field with the lowest barrier to entry and the broadest impact: from a shared lunchtime walk to running and yoga groups and active meetings. It is clearly separate from ergonomics (field 5) — this is about active movement, not about designing the workplace.
Why it pays off
Lack of movement is one of the biggest drivers of back, cardiovascular and mental complaints — and therefore of absence days. Even short, regular sessions noticeably lower the risk, and visible offers pay straight into retention and employer appeal. Many measures are eligible for health-insurance funding under §20b SGB V.

Yes. Your health insurer provides occasional impulses – individual workshops, maybe a health day. But no system, no annual plan, no KPIs, and no dashboard. BGF-Kompass gives you the structure and visibility that your insurer doesn't provide.
Health days typically reach the same 20–25 people. BGF-Kompass helps you reach the broader workforce with field-tested measures – low-threshold, inclusive, and measurable. Plus: You get a health score, a dashboard, and a potential analysis for the board.
With the executive dashboard and potential analysis. One page that shows in 30 seconds: where you stand, what you've achieved, and what would be possible with a little more resources. Real KPIs instead of gut feeling.
Many of the best measures cost nothing. Walking meetings, check-in culture, micro-break challenges – all 0 EUR. Plus: The Cost Navigator shows you hidden budgets (§ 3 No. 34 EStG, employer's liability insurance benefits, funding programs).
No. BGF-Kompass is the toolkit for health promotion managers – focused on measures, visibility, and KPIs. If your company needs a complete health management system (occupational safety, return-to-work management, risk assessment), there are specialized platforms for that.
With the monthly plan (239 EUR/month), you can cancel at any time at the end of the month – no contract lock-in, no hidden costs. With the yearly plan, you save 2 months and pay only 199 EUR/month (2,390 EUR/year). If it doesn't fit, you simply cancel.
Yes — the benefit of everyday physical activity and structured workplace health promotion is well documented: RKI and WHO, plus Chapman (2012): −25% sick days at a 1:5.56 ROI, and iga.Report 40.
